The Architectural Review Committee reviews all modifications that are visible from the exterior of your house. This includes swing sets, basketball hoops, and landscaping modifications, as well as the more obvious things such as additions, sheds, and paint color changes. We ask that you submit a completed Architectural Review Form to one of the committee members listed below at least 7 days before you intend to start work. Large projects such as additions or new structures should be given more time. Our goal is to work with you and your neighbors to approve changes that are consistent with the existing look and feel of Highland Park. Remember, you may also need a building permit or other town approvals.

All projects that are submitted on the architectural review form must have an anticipated start date and an estimated completion date. Projects that are not completed within 90 days of their estimated completion will be further scrutinized by the Highland Park Association Board of Directors. The objective of this time frame is to ensure that approved projects will be completed fully based on the understanding of the approval process. We appreciate your support on this request.
